Certain brands of dental floss have been found to have high concentration of #pfas , a chemical found in non-stick cookware, pesticides, paint and cleaning products.
33% of dental floss products tested had indications of PFAS “forever chemicals,” while 67% of products did not. In other words, 13 out of 39 products had indications of PFAS.
No tested tooth floss marketed to children had any indications of PFAS “forever chemicals.”
It may be wise to consider switching dental flosses to one of the ones recommended below.
