How Much Do Dental Implants Cost?

How much do #dentalimplantscost ? It’s one of the most common questions that we get on our YouTube Channel and Website.

Dr. Joseph Nemeth and Dr. Amar Katranji are Periodontists located in Southfield, Michigan. They have taken some time to address this extremely common question.

There are a few things to consider when inquiring about the cost of a #dentalimplant

The amount of bone that you have in your jaw is extremely important. You need enough bone in order to support the dental implant. If there is inadequate bone, we will need to do some bone grafting. If a patient need a lot of bone grafting, it will definitely affect the cost of the implant.

Next important thing to note is that the implant is essentially a screw that goes into the bone. The implant itself is a separate cost from the abutment and the crown the goes on top. So there are 3 different components that make up the cost of an implant.

A dental implant by itself can cost anywhere from $1,000 – $4,000 depending on how much bone grafting is needed.

The abutment and crown can range from $1,500 – $2,500

In total, you can expect your dental implant cost to be anywhere from $3,000 – $4,000

If bone grafting or a sinus lift or other procedures are necessary to build up the bone, then the associated costs of the implant could increase.

Dr. Katranji has placed thousands of dental implants and is a revered Michigan periodontist specializing in dental implant placement, advanced bone grafting, and immediate fixed dentures. He is highly-skilled in effectively handling complex implant situations and has earned a reputation of being one of the area’s foremost experts on such cases.

He is well published in prestigious professional journals and lectures internationally on periodontal and implant-related topics. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Dean’s Faculty at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Department of Periodontics. He stays active through regional involvement in committees dedicated to implants and periodontics and is the founder of a local dental implant study group.

Dr. Katranji’s standard is to provide his patients with the finest in periodontal clinical care. His commitment to quality and excellence are evident in the success of his work.

The cost of a dental implant has never been more affordable than today.
