When we understand how the dental fluorosis is caused, there are a lot of community programmes that happen, community dentist work a lot on what dental fluorosis is. So you should understand what kind of atmosphere, what kind of water, what kinds of agents cause fluorosis so when there is a community programme on dental fluorosis kindly make sure that you understand and you attend such programmes so that you will understand how to prevent dental fluorosis in that a particular area. It is always advised, there are some places where there is extremely hard water. They and avoid drinking such hard water. Try and drink soft water that wouldn’t contain such minerals in it, which may cause dental fluorosis. Other things is you have to understand is if you have high intake of fluorides and if you use a lot of fluoride related pastes than what is recommended or more than the safe value, then, this can result in something called as fluorosis, something similar to that of a systemic fluorosis, but the symptoms of dental fluorosis are evident because they can be visually seen as the first thing in the mouth. So understanding fluorosis in general and when we understand what fluorosis is , we can probably prevent dental fluorosis. But it is a huge community task that needs to be done because a lot of people in a partiauclr area will be having dental fluorosis, therefore dental visit all the time, or if the lady is pregnant or if the lady is wanting to conceive or probably if there is fluorosis in the family then it is always better to consult your doctor, or talk to your doctor about these issues so that you could avoid fluorosis form the next generation.
